Over the years Raleigh, NC has become known as the Smithsonian of the South due to it many free museums and exciting attractions. From the Rodin sculptures t the North Carolina Museum of Art to the Contemporary Art Museum there is something for everyone.

Many of the museums in Raleigh are free so there’s no excuse not to grab the kids and make a day of getting a little culture.
